"Hi, I'm Tina Stull, and I drive the top dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, I want to talk to you a little bit about getting ready to go to the lanes. I like to keep all of my equipment in the same place in my car. Every car is different, but for me I like to keep my gloves up here. It's a small enough space that they stick and I know when I hop in the car that they're there. I have these pegs on the roll cage, and I'm able to keep these here so when I hop in the car I know that I have my arm restraints. I keep my neck roll here, and then it's accessible while I'm getting dressed in the car and I can reach it. And up here, I have the helmet hook, and the helmet lays here. But I won't put that on so that you have better visual inside the car. Another thing that you need to do is get your seatbelts ready. On this car, I like to get up to the line and be able to buckle myself in, and so you loosen your straps. On this car I throw them over. Typically, in dragsters, all of the dragsters can do something similar to this. Bring these over. If I need to loosen them up, I'll loosen those up, put that there. That way when I climb into the car, I do not have to dig for seatbelts because once the adrenaline starts flowing, you can get flustered rather easily."
