"Hi! I'm George Stonebrook for Expert Village here to talk to you today about preventing theft of your vintage car. The first thing you want to do in preventing theft to your car is to sable as easiest you can. One of the ideas is to take your distributor cap of your ignition system and disable it so that the car will not start; several ways of doing that: removing the distributor cap and inside is where the ignition is. If you remove this component, the rotor and put the distributor cap back on, no matter what is tried, the car will not start until that component is replaced. Another way to disable a vehicle's ignition system is to remove some of its wires. This is the central ignition wire. To remove this is to remove all spark and without spark the car will not run. These 2 items are to be stored in a very safe place so that when it is time to put the car back together to run, it will be a very easy fix. "
