"Hi my name is Chris Kelley and I’m speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I am a stunt man currently working out in the Hollywood area and I’m going to give you some tips today. Alright if you’re going to do a little off road or motocross riding, a few tips on riding is going to be first of all, you want to set your bike up, you want to make sure it feels comfortable. You want to get on it, feel the levers and notice this lever is in a little bit awkward position, it’s making my wrist rotate at an awkward level. What you want to do is you want your lever to be in the position of your arms, body positioning on a dirt bike, you want your head to be positioned over the bars, you want to be in an attack position because right here in this position, elbows up, head over the bars, shoulders forward and you want to keep your abs tight, you want to kind of keep a crunched in position because right here this is your power position. You’re in control of the bike, you can get up over it and make it do what you want. If you’re sitting back like this, just kind of cruising, your elbows are down, what happens here is when you hit jumps or bumps, the bike, you’re not going to have any power to control the handle bars, but if you’re up like this it’ll all go up into your arms, you’re using your whole body to maintain control of the bike. So you want to your levers to be good, you want the bike to feel comfortable, you want your shifter and your brake to be in a position where you can reach them whether you be sitting on the bike or whether you’re standing.
