"Hi my name is Chris Kelley or my friends call me CK and I’m speaking on behalf of Expert Village. I am a stunt man currently working out in the Hollywood area and I’m going to give you some tips today. So some basic, you just got your bike, you’re looking to go out riding, you might have your license already or you might just have your permit, you’re looking to get into biking. A good way to go about getting your license or training, is to go down to your local DMV and they’re going to have information about motorcycling and a motorcycle safety class that they have in the area, most every state has these programs. They’ll put you through the programs, you’ll ride, you’ll have street time, road course time and you’ll have a class room section where they can go through the basics and help you with that. That’s one way to go about it, I’m just going to go through a few basics here, once you have the bike in riding is the setup of your bike, you want to make sure that your controls, when I say controls, your levers, your brakes, your foot brake over here, your shift lever, that they’re set up in a position that you can use them. You don’t want levers, notice how the levers on this bike follow the slope of my arms when I’m on the bike, so that’s a comfortable riding position, my fingers aren’t, my wrist is not twisted way up or it’s not reaching way down. You want to be comfortable you want to be in position where you can use the levers and use the rear brake and the shifter and if those are not set up right you’re going to have a difficult time. "
