"This is Chef Michael Hable with Expert Village and today we are going to be making beer cheese soup. Our next step is going to be to add about 12 ounces of beer. I use a light beer it is a little bit easier on the pallet when you drink it. I get a big bottle so I have leftovers when I am done. You want your beer to get to about room temperature before you pour it in there that way it is not really cold when it goes in. Also it is not as foamy. Now we are in a medium high fire here and we added our beer we are going to let it come to a boil and while that is boiling let's see how our chicken stock is doing. Okay all of our bullions are diluted so we can turn this to a low fire and keep it warm while our beer is boiling. We are also going to add 2 bay leaves to our beer, mix those up in there and we would wait until this comes to a boil."
