"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller and today I'm going to show you how to make Spanish style chicken noodle soup. The yuca is so tough to cut. Yuca is very very hard to cut. I would advise people who don't know how to cut it to go long ways like this. I cut it this way and I take my time just cutting. If you want to use a vegetable peeler, again you can try to. It is going to take a long time cause it is so tough. The skin is really really tough on the yuca you see. You are not going to see that white until you get rid of that pink underneath do you see that. So it takes a little bit of time to cut up the yuca. That is why you have enough time to do this you know because while the soup is boiling, you have to cut these vegetables and they are really hard to cut. It is not like your potato it is easier to cut. Pumpkin, the calabaza has a tough skin and I would show you in a minute that, that is pretty hard to cut also and how you can cut it and there are alternatives to cutting that."
