"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller and today I'm going to show you how to make Spanish style chicken noodle soup. Spanish soup has different kind of vegetables than like chicken soup, chicken soup and Americans would make. The Ireland's usually use Ireland vegetables. Something like this for instance is malanga and it is a Malanga root. It is white inside and it looks like this. So it is very very white, it is like a bitter taste to it. It is not very sweet but we use it in our soup, we also fry our malanga like we make malanga stuff called fritras which are delicious. Another vegetable that we use is yuca and some Ireland's call it cassava. Cassava it looks like that to it is white but it is kind of stringy. You would see that it is a little stringy and we actually boil yuca and you would notice that sometimes at the Spanish parties you would see yuca served with pork as a dish."
