"Hi my name is J and I'm talking to you guys today on behalf of expertvillage.com and today we are going to move on with the hummus and I'm going to show you how to make a nice crispy pita. What you want to do is preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Okay after you have preheated your oven to 375 degrees you want to get your pita breads. I get my pita breads from the local convenient store if you can find them there you can probably find them at you know a specialty super market or usually regular super market have them or you can go to a middle eastern store and they got them there for sure. This is a Greek flat bread pita and as you can see it is totally flat they do sell them where they are already cut in half and there pocket pitas. I do not recommend using that for this. These are just the regular soft and tasty pitas there is not kind flavor added to them. I do store my pita inside of the refrigerator that way it will last a lot longer because they do mold pretty fast. They have different flavors like onions, garlic, and they have flavors like wheat and they have different things you know whatever you think taste good it is probably is good. The garlic and herb the one that I tasted is very delicious, the onion one is delicious, event the wheat one is good. This is all that they had at the store so this is what I'm going to use. What you want to do is get your pita and lay it down on your silicon pad which I have here, you can use foil, you can us partridge paper, or you can use a plain old metal pan as long as there is something to protect the pita from sticking and burning and that is it.
