"Hi my name is J I'm talking to you guys on behalf of expertvillage.com today I'm going to be talking about how to pick your ingredients to make your hummus. There is a variety of different types of garbanzos, you got can garbanzos beans and you got dried garbanzos beans. I would recommend getting the can ones cause you don't have to soak them over night for them to be used. Very convent and cheap. Also you might be looking in your product section for your lemons you definitely want to find a lemon that is nice and tender, one that you can kind of squeeze but make sure that it is not bruise or it is not old. Also same thing with the cucumber you want to make sure that it is nice and green and that it is nice and firm and that there is no bruising anywhere. With your tahini there is a lot of different types of tahini you got to make sure to get the tahini that usually they come in a clear bottle like this you got to make sure that you see some of the liquid on the very top. That means that it is very fresh tahini and you can mix it when you open it there is going to be a liquid at the top you have to mix it with a spoon that way you can get all mixed in there altogether. Now all the other ingredients in the hummus is pretty basic you can find it at your grocery store. If you cant find it in your regular grocery store you can get it out of a middle eastern store. That is it for how to pick your ingredients. "
