"Now we're ready to assemble our crab artichoke dip. We've mashed and diced up the artichokes. Now we're going to add our dressing, and we're going to add the crab last so we don't break it up. Add a scant teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and a little bit of mayo. I like the combination of mayonnaise and sour cream because it's not too one way or the other. A little bit of sour cream, and we have our wonderful fresh dill. There's nothing like fresh dill to really perk up a dish. Some fresh lime juice, same thing. It's going to really perk it up. Now the salt and pepper, and let's mix this up and see how it looks. Now you could just go with this and have an artichoke dip, or maybe an artichoke spinach dip. You add some frozen thawed spinach into this, and some cheese, and that's a dip just like that. We're going to take it a step further, and make it a crab dip. That looks nice. I'm going to add in my blue crab. You'll find this in the refrigerated section of the grocery store, or of a specialty store, not on the shelf. This is a higher quality, it's pasteurized. Let's get that crab in there. Let's add some nice big pieces. After we've added the crab, you want to fold it a little more gently. See, I'm doing this a little more gently than I did before because of preserving the crab so it doesn't just disintegrate. Finally, we're going to add some chopped scallions, and that's it. This is your delicious crab artichoke dip. You should chill this for about an hour, and it's ready for dipping. When we come back, I will show you how to serve the appetizer trio."
