The classic Greek salad, sometimes called a “village salad”, in its traditional form consists of chopped tomato, cucumbers, bell pepper and red onion, and sometimes baby spinach, and seasoned with salt, pepper, oregano and olive oil. Some recipes also call for feta, capers and kalamata olives. In the United States and UK a Greek salad is a lettuce based salad with classic Greek ingredients like feta cheese, olives and tomatoes and topped with oil and vinegar. Some recipes also use cucumbers, bell peppers, onions, radishes, pepperoncini and sometimes beets.

Now the sheep milk and goats milk varieties are the traditional thing that you would find in Greece. Since Greece is an island and it's to small to support cattle that you would need for cows milk."
