"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make some rock and pasta salad and some couscous lentil salad. Now we're going to make the dressing for our rock and pasta salad. I'm going to make the dressing right in the bowl that I'm going to use to assemble the salad so the dressing is already in there and then we'll just coat all the ingredients. What we need for our dressing is some extra virgin olive oil let's call it about 2-3 tablespoons and some Dijon mustard, the real Dijon mustard from France (the good stuff, 1 teaspoon) and some mayonnaise. I like mayonnaise in this because it coats the pasta salad so well the way just olive oil will not. Then I have some salt and pepper and I'm using a little Mediterranean seasoning blend, all different things in there garlic, onion, pepper. Now I'm just going to whisk this together to see how it looks. That looks really delicious I can tell it moistifies really quickly because it has mayonnaise which is already moistified and olive oil. That looks great doesn't it but I think we're going to need a little more so let's add some more olive oil, a little more Dijon. That's what it should look like, really nice and creamy. When we come back, we're going to assemble our pasta salad see you then."
