"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make some rock and pasta salad and some couscous lentil salad. Now we're going to prep our red onion and celery the only cooking in this recipe is boiling the pasta. Everything else is just a little prep so it's really great. We'll take our red onion cut off the top and the bottom and then I like to score it and it peels right off. We only need half of it for this dish so we're going to slice them very very thin of the red onion, like this. Then I'm going to go through with my knife and dice it up and you want small dices. You don't want big chunks of red onion in your pasta salad. Then we're going to quickly prep our celery; let's do one stock to show you how I do it. Take the celery stock and score it two or three times and hold it on your cutting board and as simple as that just run your knife through and you have nice dice celery. In our next clip we're going to prep our peppers."
