"Hi this is Karen for Expert Village. When our meats and our onions are all browned well put the rest of stocks together and then set it to boil. Let's first put in 8 cups of water there we go. Then we would add all of our vegetables and our onions skins to give that a little color, we would add our 1/2 teaspoon of thyme, our 1/2 teaspoon of black peeper corn, our 2 bay leaves and I'm going to start with just a 1/2 teaspoon of salt and later I will salt it to taste. Just stir that up we would bring it to a boil and after it boils would turn it down low and let it simmer for 2 hours. "
