"Hi this is Karen for Expert Village. Now we are going to brown our meat, bones and onion and garlic in a little bit of olive oil. Turn your heat on to high and in a nice stock pot this is a 8 quart, you put your oil right in there and let it heat up a little bit and then we would be adding our meats and our bones. We want that to brown up nicely the browning add flavor to the stock. So let that brown and just turn it once in a while when one side of the meat or the bones are browned up you'll give it a stir until all sides of the meat are brown and then we would add the onions and continue to brown our onions. Our meat is completely brown now and we would add our onions and our garlic and stir that up and continue browning the onions to get a nice flavor for the broth. Let that cook for another 5-10 minutes and then we would be adding our water for our broth. "
