"Hi I'm Karen for Expert Village now we're going to add our seasonings and our water I'm adding a teaspoon of salt you can leave the salt out if you don't want the extra sodium because this soap will be very flavorful, a 1/2 of teaspoon of thyme, 1/2 of black pepper corns, and about 2 whole bay leaves this 2 halves and 1, and then just add water right up to the top. It should take about 1/2 gallon to a gallon of water you want to fill that right up to the top okay and then we'll put that on the stove. We'll start by cooking in at a high heat until it comes into a boil after it boils we're going to turn it down low to a simmer and we'll be simmering it for 2 to 3 hours. "
