"Hi, this is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. Now we are going to go ahead and add our tomato paste about 2 teaspoons. We're just going to mix that right in there, right now we have the heat on medium so we won't burn anything. Just make sure all the carrots and the potatoes are evenly covered with the paste. Then we are going to go ahead and add our chicken stock, it is 10 cups of chicken stock. It may also be a great idea to go ahead and have this heating up in another pot, it isn't completely necessary but we shouldn't be using cold chicken stock. Now we are going to go ahead and cover this and simmer for about 40 minutes."
