Ingredients for Hearty Potato Soup

"This is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. Now we would be making cream of potato soup. We need 8-9 potatoes, 2 onions, yolks of 2 eggs, 1 cup of rich cream or heavy milk. Salt and pepper to taste, frozen peas and frozen corn. Peel the out layer of the onion this is going to be to rough for use to eat we can not use it. This is just a protective layer for the onion. So we put it off and cut the other end off just to the center. If you want to make a couple of slices through the onion this is a easier way to make diced onions. You turn it half way and go the exact opposite. You are going to make a criss cross pattern. After you do this you want to put it on the side and start dicing away."
