"Hi, this is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. After the bacon and onions cooked, the onion will be clear, we're going to add our chicken base and water or just chicken broth, it's up to you. Then we're going to work those little cooked pieces to the pan out, like I said that is where the flavors is. Just get in there and break those up and stir around, after the water has come to a boil you want to turn it back down and here is where we add our potatoes. As you can see we are having a hard time with ours because the reason is a smaller pot than it should be. We are only using 1 potato instead of 2, now keep an eye on your sausage and you want to start breaking those into smaller pieces. Make sure not to over cook those pieces of sausage but a little brown doesn't hurt. Now if the potatoes have been simmering for 15 minutes we are going to add our milk (1/2 cup) or 1/2 cup cream and mix that up and then we're going to add our sausage. You can also add 2 cups kayo if you want but this time we are not. You want to make sure that you mix all that up and you're going to simmer for another four minutes. This serves about five, if you don't need that much do like we did and just cut the ingredients into half. Thank you very much and this is Tuscan soup."
