"Hi, this is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. I'm going to start off in a pan, we're going to melt 2 tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet. We're going to saute the leeks until they are very lightly brown. Make sure to move those around so they all get cooked evenly. At this point you can also salt and pepper to taste but it's not required. We're going to cook those and add the potatoes and stir those around, make sure they all get mixed up and at this point we're going to add enough water to just cover the potatoes. At this point we're going to cover and cook on medium to medium low until the potatoes and leeks are done. To know that they are done just stick a fork in them and if they come out easy they are done. "
