"Hi, this is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. So in a separate frying pan we're going to add the butter. So only add half of the butter this time so 6 tablespoons of butter, once that is melted you're going to add our onions. We're going to fry these until they become clear, move them around to get the butter in there. Then we're going to season it with salt and pepper, after we mixed with our salt and pepper we're going to add our potatoes, we're going to stir those around and mix those up. While our potatoes are cooking we're going to add chicken broth to another pot, just 2 quarts chicken broth and once that heats up we're going to add our potatoes and onion mixture. Make sure you get all that little pieces off of our pan."
