"This is Christopher Lyman with expertvillage.com. The next thing we are going to discuss is the proper use of a razor blade on glass. You've got to be very very careful when you use a razor blade and you can never use a razor blade on tempered glass. You will always be able to tell if it is tempered glass because it is going to stay in each of the right hand corners, anything like sliding glass doors, tempered glass. Anything in a bathroom is going to be tempered glass or anything less than 18 inches off the ground is usually tempered glass. But before you even take a blade to glass, take a look at the window and make sure it is not tempered because if you, you are going to scratch your glass and that is going to cause you some problems whether you are the homeowner or if you know that is for somebody else.
