"This is Christopher Lyman with expertvillage.com. The next thing we are going to do is demonstrate how to wash a screen that won't come off. You'll often find this on a sliding glass door or sometimes that you will find a screen that is just so tight, that you can't get it off without breaking it and you need to wash it. Dip your sponge in and get it nice and wet; the wetter, the better. Soak that screen. You can even do this with a garden hose and maybe get some type of scrub brush and scrub your screen. Again though, you don't want to put too much pressure on your screen. You don't want to break it. So scrub your screen and make sure you get all your side corners. What I do is just take a towel and start tapping that screen and it will knock that water right off. It works great. You almost don't have to dry it off when you are done. Knock off most of the water and then take your towel and just finish drying the rest of your screen paying attention to the sides and the frame as well."
