In this free diy home maintenance video series, you will learn how to fix a sliding screen door. Our renovation expert and experienced home repair professional will demonstrate how to remove the door from the track and how to remove the screen mesh. You will then measure the frame to figure out how much replacement screen you need. In order to keep the screen in place, you will need to purchase spline, which is a flexible strip of wire which you insert at the seams of the screen door to keep the mesh in place. Our expert will also show you how to put the screen door back onto the track and adjust the wheels so it slides smoothly.
