Test Wiring for Ceiling Fan Installation

"Hi! My name is Adolph Ramirez from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village, this is how to install a ceiling fan. All right in this section, we are going to test the fan. We are going to make sure that everything is working properly. The first thing that I am going to do is set on high. The fan seems to loading and winding up just fine with no wobble. That is what you want to look for. Before you proceed any further, you want to make sure there is nothing that is going to be really off. If the blade are misaligned or weighted, they do come with weights usually to kind of balance them out where they won't shaker around so much. This one seems to be doing pretty good on high. You can after this, we are going to add our light kit but again, just make sure everything is fine. We will click medium, slow it down a little bit. Again, everything seems fine. This is a fairly heavy fan so there shouldn't be any shaking any way. Put it on low; everything still seems fine. Once you are done, just turn it off and this is the way you test a fan. "
