"Michael Raines. Expert Village. Now, we're under the sink. We've deduced that our switch is still good. So now the problem must be under the sink with the disposal. Now, what most people don't realize is there is a reset switch on modern disposals. Some of the older ones didn't have it. The newer ones that are probably ten years or older, sometimes don't have the reset switch. But most of the modern ones do. This one happens to have one. It's at the bottom of every disposal unit, located just about here. And if it's not protruding out, then the breaker didn't pop. Then there's other problems. But usually a quick fix is just pushing that back in and it's fixed. In this case, this isn't our problem. So now, we have more underlying problems to deal with. So, the next thing to do is to check the electrical connection of the disposal. So, we need some tools for that."
