"Hi, my name is Leslie Moselle. I'm from Tampa, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village this is how to do laundry. The next step on doing your laundry is one of the most important steps of all and this is sometimes one of the steps that people actually love. Sorting your laundry. Yes, it is important to sort your laundry. There is a reason for it and it helps to keep your laundry and clothing looking better longer. You want to get as much use out of your clothes as possible. So if you take care of your clothes and wash them properly they are going to look good longer. So the first thing I like to do is sort it. Now where you want to sort it is up to you, I like to sort it in the laundry room, if you don't have one the kitchen floor is fine. But you want to go ahead and sort your whites. I choose whites first. I'm just going to go ahead and put your laundry pick a dryer or a washer and just go ahead and sort it. Whites are easy to sort, they have a little bit of a print on them, it is not a big deal. They are not going to get ruined but the important part of sorting your whites is cause they are going to get bleached on. If you want your whites to stay whiter longer then you want to add a little bit of bleach to your load along with your detergent. Now once you have sorted your whites you want to make sure that all the white clothing is in one load. Try to separate your white towels or your white loads and other of the more sturdy materials in a separate load. You don't really want all of your nice whites to be tumbled along with your whites and your towels. You also want to make sure that your white dedicates are in one load but we would get to that later. But the first load that you can sort is your whites, those are the tips to remember. "
