"Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of washing clothes. We've been talking all about washing your colored clothes today, and what better member of that than the blue jeans. Everybody has a favorite pair of blue jeans, they seem to be really, really big with the men. Also mine, mine are probably a little bit more expensive than my husband's. I'm going to teach you a couple of tricks to keep these guys and your wash looking good. First thing I do, is I pull them out, and I go through the pockets. You really don't want gum, or candy, or pens--could totally ruin your jeans and you couldn't wear them anymore. Tissues too, they get all shredded. So go through--even these teeny little pockets up here, check them, check everything. And now here's a trick that you might not know. I turn my jeans inside out. So I'm going to go ahead and turn these guys inside out. There we go. And I make sure that the cuffs are down, because what happens is residue can get caught in these cuffs and it doesn't wash out properly. So there you go. You can wash all kinds of jeans together. You know, we have stone wash, acid wash, embellished jeans; it's okay to wash them together. But if this was a new pair of jeans, and you don't want to mix it in with those other ones, I would wash it all by itself. Because jeans, especially cheap jeans, tend to run. So wash it by itself first. And if you want them like really tight, really cute, you put them in the dryer. If you don't want them so tight, just hang them up, like in the bathroom. Or if it has embellishments on it, I take it right from the washer to the bathroom. So, don't put them in the dryer. So there you have it, some great tips on keeping your blue jeans looking fantastic."
