Preparing Soil for Japanese Boxwood

"Now, I'm doing some preparation, getting ready to dig. It hasn't rained in quite some time. The soil is dry and hard so I'm giving it a really good watering. We want the soil to be nice and moist so we can dig easily. Another thing I'm doing is starting to think about what I'm going to be doing. Now, if I go too far over this way, I'm going to be on the neighbor's property and that will be a bad thing, so I want to be sure that I'm digging in my area. So, I don't want to make my neighbor angry. I want to stay within my legal area where I can plant. So, really take some time and really think about what you're going to do first. Another thing I'm doing is getting the plants ready. I'm giving the plants a good watering to prepare them for planting. I want them to be nice and hydrated, ready to be put into the soil. So, I want to be sure they're nice and wet. I want to be sure they've drunk a good healthy drink before I put them through the stress of transplantation. Little things we can do. We will be ready to plant our Japanese Boxwood."
