How to Add Garden Furniture

"Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen on behalf of Expert Village. In this section we're going to talk about outside furniture and how it can make your house and your garden feel more welcoming. The big craze right now was outside entertaining and when you entertain outside you need a place for your guest to sit. So I found by placing a nice chair near a water feature or under a tree on a hot summer day you are inviting, your are welcoming your friends and yourself to sit under the tree. That is what gardening is all about, taking the time to sit down and enjoy your garden. The busy busy life style that we have today sitting down takes a lot of effort. If you have nice furniture that you can sit in it will welcome you to sit down and you can enjoy your garden. There are many types of benches too that you can purchase and set aside on your walkways or under a tree that will invite your visitors to sit down. This is a beautiful bench from Henry Hall in San Fransisco. It was hand made and it's a beautiful chair that I love to sit down and read a book in the summer time. In the winter time I try to make sure that all of my wooden furniture is under the eaves or under a covered area so that it doesn't get too wet. Every few years I might stain it again just to purk it up a little bit. But up to the point I really like that natural look and like to have my furniture kind of aged naturally and that way I can enjoy it and remember it for years to come too.
