    I wouldnt want you working with me out in yhe woods.I can tell you dont have much experence out falling trees.

    I am so inexperienced.. but I must agree with ncfaller.. that almost should not have worked. The notch was shallow while the fell cut was low. ? Chain saws are some S-C-A-R-Y machines... but trees are even scarier - when they are falling!

    Sloppy notch. The angle cut passes the flat cut, effectively lowering the hinge point and only allowing a kerf width of motion before fiber failure. The backcut is well below the notch, violating all commonly accepted practices and even those described in this video series! The backcut was also flat (a good thing, but contrary to the dinstructions given in the video series). There was no wedge use. He's lucky the tree went the correct direction.
