"We are growing Live Oaks from seeds, actually acorns. We did a float test on these acorns and a lot of them floated but in my experience, the majority of the ones especially the ones that didn't have holes in them like that one that I just threw away, will germinate. We are going to plant them about half in the soil, push them half way down in the soil as mother nature would to see how many of these that didn't float but did float will actually germinate.
