  I just discovered this site yesterday. I am a novice looking to learn. I've watched some of these videos, and granted, he may not be a total expert and know all. But some of the things you other people are criticizing him about I didn't see. The chain was off when he took the wedge off, he does have chaps on, those orange pants are not just for good looks. If the tree fell against the lean, I guess he knew what he was doing. If you guys are the experts, give me your website so I can watch your free videos. I appreciate his effort.

  Please never, never follow this guys' direction. His thumb isnt wrapped around the bar, he doesnt use the chain brake, he is felling a tree against the lean, doesnt have chaps on, no hardhat, and his face cut is pathetic. You will hurt yourself if you try it this way.
