Video Transcript

"This is a Spanish Oak tree that grows well in Texas. They can get quite large up to 80 feet and get quite big enough where it takes couple of men to get around. They are native in the creek bottoms and areas where you can get a little water not so much anymore in the areas of Texas. The tree is quite well adapted and it makes a good shade tree as you can see from this one. It makes a high shade canopy and it is not susceptible to a lot of diseases that the other Oaks are susceptible to. They are well known in Texas as a yard shaped tree. "
