Keeping Lawn Mower Blades Sharp

" Hi, this is John on behalf of Expert Village. I would like to talk to you a little bit about now when you begin your cutting season with your lawnmower. One of the things that you need to do is check the blade and see how sharp it is. If this blade is not sharp, it is going to gap your lawn or pull the grass instead of cutting the grass. What you need to do is check the edges much like you would check a knife-edge. As you can see this edge right here is just a little bit dull and what you can do is use a file like this or you can take this bolt off right here, attach this to the engine, take this, and work with it by our hand or with the machine. You just want to make sure that these edges here the cutting edges have a nice crisp sharp edge on them."
