" Hi, this John, now we are going to be talking about getting ready to mow with your riding lawnmower. The first thing that you need to do is check in front of you and make sure that there are no sticks, rocks or toys or any other obstructions out there that might damage your blade or be thrown into the path of someone else. The next thing that you need to do is set your blade to the proper height, not too high to where you will not get a cut and not to low to where you will scalp the yard. You need to start on the outside and move inward, cut one end and come to the other end on the opposite direction sort of in a zigzag pattern. You need to overlap the width of your wheel. Never cut the grass blade more than one-third of its length. "
