How to Mulch your Garden Trees & Shrubs

Now what we need to do is to add top soil or mulch to your flower beds, shrub area and around the tree. Mulch is going to help you maintain the moisture for your plants, for your trees and for your shrubs. When you purchase mulch, it comes in various shades. You know darker or lighter. Also, it is going to come shredded in medium size and what they call nugget size. The nugget size tends to be much better for like this crape myrtle. Today I need some mulch around it. What I've done is I've created a dam all around it as you can see right here. By doing this when we add the mulch, we are going to be able to maintain more water, more moisture so that way the plants and the trees are just going to love it throughout the day and just be sure all your flower beds and shrub areas have a lot of mulch. If they need some, just add more. If they need top soil, do it as well. I want you to help me wit the mulch here. Let's start here now. There we go. Just beginners. All around it. Very good that is exactly what we need. All around the crape myrtle. I'm telling you this is going to be beautiful.
