"Hi, I'm Stan De Freitas, Mr. Green Thumb. Now, Parsley is one of those plants that we often think of as a garnish, and we don't often eat it. You probably should though, because it's a good source of vitamin C, and it's also a good source of iron. Parsley can be used, not only in potatoes, but it can be used in many other recipes, as well. This one, it happens to be a curled variety, and of course there's also the flat leaf. Some people have preference for one over the other. Basically, all of the Parslies will grow well in near full sun to partial shade. Make sure you have it in a good peaty pearlite-type soil. If you're putting it into a garden, I'd probably add some cow manure to the soil; maybe some peat moss, because it seems to do better where it's getting a little more extra organic matter to the mix. Also of course, make sure it drains well. If you've got an area in the garden where it doesn't drain well, well put this in the area where it's a little bit higher, because I think Parsley will do better where it's going to have really good drainage. Parsley is easy to grow. It's also one of those plants that's good for you to have. It's a plant that you're going to have as a near full sun. Make sure you fertilize it about every two months in a high light area, and you'll have Parsley year round. For On Gardening, I'm Stan De Freitas, Mr. Green Thumb."
