Hi, I'm Stan DeFreitas, "Mr. Green Thumb". When you start to think about having a good garden, you need to think about improving the soil. Now I know a lot of folks come up to me and say, "Hey, 5 bucks for a bag of cow manure, I can start to rent my own cow." Well that may be. But if you don't have room for in your backyard for your own real deal, you may want to get one that is sterile and one like Black Kow cow manure. I've used a number of different ones. This one of course has some slow release fertilizer in it. It's not going to burn, and it's great for some of your houseplants and other plants as well. It's about a 5. .5 .5, which means it has about a half a percent NP, K in this bag. It's not a lot of fertilizer, but it's enough to give your small little seedlings, or tomato plant a nice boost. Remember the cow manure is sort of like peat moss. It's going to help hold the water, it's going to help hold the organic matter, and you?re going to have better results. If you can hold that water, hold that fertilizer, your plant gets to use what it's designed to have. Make sure you use one like this. I usually use about 25 pounds to about 100 square feet of garden area for best results. If you want to be a good gardener, remember adding the cow manure and you'll have better results every time.
