"Hi this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip we would be installing our permanent shelf. Now we want our middle section to be broke up to 2 equal sections, after doing the math on that I found each section needs to be 13 5/8 of a inch. So I'm first going to measure up 13 5/8 on each side and make a mark. Next I'm going to transfer those marks down by using a square and then we are going to put a little bit of glue down those sides and move our shelf into place. Now we are going to want to make our shelf flush with the top of the front of our project so before I clamp it tight I'm going to make sure it is flushed and then clamp that down. I went ahead and put a clamp on the back side of it as well just so I have plenty of holding power just in the front and the back so the shelf if not going to move on me. After that I'm going to put in a few pin nails just to hold it in place until the glue dries. You always want to make sure you take a damp paper towel and wipe off any excess glue that might have squeezed out of that joint. After the clamp have been removed our installation of our permanent shelf is complete. "
