"After our filling and sanding is done we want to take a look at our lumber and just look at where the knots are, where the features are, and decide which side of these two boards to use as the inside and which is the outside. I selected these sides as the inside of the case and when we build it, this is going to flip up and this one's going to flip up. So I put a piece of tape on these to indicate which is going to be the back and which is going to be the inside. That way I know where to start and where I'm going to end up. We also want to take a look at what we're going to use for the shelves. We want to look it over find the nicest boards for the top. See this board is kind of ugly, that's going to go at the bottom of the bottom. This looks kind of ugly, but that will go at the bottom of the second shelf and this one will be good for a second shelf."
