"Hi! This is Jon on behalf of Expert Village in this video clip I will be showing you how we are going to measure for our desk. Now our cabinet to the right is going to be a permanent fixture so we are going to use this as a base line when measuring our wall. Now along this wall our desk could be no longer then 47 1/4 inches. Along our long wall we are going to have a 32 inch wide dresser just to the right of the window and then our desk could come all the way up to the dresser. So when we take our measurement we are going to measure from the wall to the window and then we are going to subtract 32 inches. Our measurement from the window to the wall is approximately 98 inches now if we minus 32 inches for the dresser that gives us 66 inches that the desk could be."
