"Hi, I am David Belch and today I am with Expert Village to show you how to install windows. The next step is the stops. The stops go to the top, pushed as tight to the window as you can get it especially in the middle. Windows have a tendency to have a bough in it so push the window in as much as you can especially in the middle. This is my first nail. Just nail accordingly. Otherwise the only thing that is holding this window are the four screws. If you have a hurricane, especially in this area you get low pressure and it is actually going to suck the window out so you actually have to have a stop to hold the window in. The next thing I do is finish the outside of the window. I am going to cap all the brick mold all the way to the window and back around. I am going to get my measurements. Pretty standard brick mold, it is 2 inches, 2 and 3/8's. I am going to make it 2 and 5/8's and I am going to show you why. Sometimes you have a problem with the shutters. Make a little void so that my cap can then slide in behind the shutters."
