"Hi I am David Belch and I am here with Expert Village today to show you how to install windows. Right now we are going to talk about preparing the opening. I have got it completely out. I have removed any debris, any nails that might be in the way of taking out any sashes. As you can see right here I have got a little bit of wood that needs to be fixed and I will get it out of the way. I have got little clips at the top and it is best to remove them now instead of later. In order to do so just take a chisel, get on the side, and get them out. Clean out your ceil and check for any rotten wood. This is good old wood. Unfortunately the newer houses are not that fortunate."
