"In this clip, I'm going to demonstrate the number one product you have to have for racing and it is a suit. This covers you from your ankles to your neck and it is fire retardant, it has stretchiness in it, so you can bend and flex. The first thing that I put on when I get in the car, before I get in the car, is my fire retardant socks. They're made out of nomex, which is a fire retardant material. It gives you every later of nomex you wear, you get an extra three seconds before you start burning up when you're in a fire. These are fire retardant long sleeved shirts and my fire retardant underwear. Which cover me from head to toe so that I have an extra few seconds to get out the car. Gloves, these protect your hands from getting blisters when you're driving from the steering wheel in them. They also are fire retardant, so if you get in a fire, you don't burn up. These are my shoes with fancy shoelaces. They have flat bottoms so that you can adjust your pedals and do your pedals. They also are fire retardant, so they work really well."
