"Hi my name is Jess Graham and here in Tampa, Florida on behalf of Expert Village this is how to replace and maintain your air filter in a motorcycle. This particular filter that came off a 2001 Suzuki TL 1000 requires you to unscrew it. You see the difference between a paper filter. This particular filter you would want to dispose of and buy a new one. You can not reuse it. And the particular filter on this bike which is a 2007 Yamaha R1 simply, remove it and it is a mesh wire filter so I can reuse it. All I have to do is clean and reuse it and it simply just a slides to right out."
