How to Reassemble a Motorcycle Wheel

"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Seth Williams. I work for D-K Service and I'm here to tell you about simple street bike break repair and inspection. We're going to go ahead and reinstall the rear wheel now. There's going to be some assembly required in getting it set up to go back on the bike. I'm going to go over here. I'm going to grab our sprocket and Kush drive setup and reinstall this onto the motorcycle wheel here. As you can see these go on one way. There's a locating tab. They just snap down into those holes there. And this will allow for a smoother torque delivery on your motorcycle. Especially with a bigger motor. Rather than just metal on metal which sometimes causes wheel spin which can cause loss of control of the bike. Once those are installed, go ahead and slide them down in there. Sometimes you'll need to use a lube or some other slippery substance so you can get that flush back in there. As you can see I didn't need anything so it's ready to go back into it. Make sure that this slides back in there like that. Those are your spacers. Those are going to be pretty important to your motorcycle."
