on 5/28/2009 This guys a complete loser, seriously, you just slide the old one off, the new one on, easy enough. It's sometimes harder to figure out what type of connectors you gota work with. just keep the blade attached to the vehicle.

"Hi! My name is Nate McCullough on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip we are going to talk about the pros and cons between blade assembly replacement and replacement of just the wiper blade element itself. In my opinion for my time and money, it is best to buy the whole assembly. What you get with the whole assembly is not only the blade element here and the guide springs. You also get new sliding brackets, new return springs, new pins and new levers. You can see this lever here and this lever here. You get the whole thing along with new hardware. For about a dollar, you can buy just the element. The element will come with a new guide spring; that's it, you only get this lower portion. You can see this wiper blade is kind of a complicated device. These are actually springs that hold the blade itself in contact with the windshield. You got your hardware here. You can see that the blade itself is actually starting to rust out. It didn't come off my car. Like I said you get all this new stuff with the blade assembly and you don't with just changing the element. Also you have to do the work of disassembling the blade and reassembling the blade before it can be installed on the vehicle. "
