"Hello, in this segment, we're going to cover pre-fitting tire chains. This tip that I'll put out and it's highly recommended, that you pre-fit your chains. Basically what I'm referring to is we're going take an actual tire off the vehicle and we're going to mount the chains around the tire, with the tire off. That way, we can adjust and check all the adjustments and get it set up so we get the tightest fit possible. The tighter the chains fit to the tire, the better they're going work. The more traction they're going to give you. The longer they're going to last and they'll ride smoother and much quieter. By pre-fitting, we can set all the adjustments and links up so we get the tightest possible fit and we know exactly how everything goes together, so when get out in the snow, we can quickly and easily put it on. We know exactly which connection where to hook up our snubbers for the chain tensioning devices. It'll give us the best possible fit and a good service life out of the chains and also prevent them from damaging the vehicle that you're operating. Please watch our next segment and we'll cover pre-fitting tire, actually, we'll cover pre-fitting cable chains."
