on 6/12/2009 For anyone actually needing ways to clean their carpet please read my advice.

1. Go to wal-mart and pick up a "Little Green (by Bissell)"
2. Go to Smart & Final, buy a bottle of extracter cleaner
3. Turn on the machine and remove stains, spills, puke, wax, grease.....OIL BLACK NASTY GREASY MECHANIC OIL too.

Extractor fluid = $10 for 1 gallon (2oz of concentrate per gallon of water) will last you about 30 full car cleanings

Bissell = $65-$90, will clean upholstery, carpets, drapes, pet stains... and will work for years and years

" Hello! My name is Jason. I am talking on behalf of expertvillage.com. After vacuuming a vehicle, the next step is to shampoo the carpets. I’ll show you my favorite products over here that I like to use. I use other products that do not work as good these. First we have the all-purpose cleaner; works very well in removing grease. Then if you have very tough spots on the carpet that you can’t remove, use the carpet stain and spot lifter. It comes in a blue can, you can buy from Auto Zone or O’Reilly or any parts store. We also have the Oxy cleaner then last of all we got this scrubbing bubble cleaner. Use all this and you got to have the perfect carpet. Now the next question is what do you use to remove all the dirt particles, how you scrub them off? A lot of people love to use brushes. I personally do not like to use brushes because when you do that you basically, the dirt will come up from underneath the carpet. What you want to do, you want to remove the dirt from the surface. So my personal thing to use is just a handy rack. What you do, you have a little bucket, you put water into there and a little bit of dishwasher liquid and you simply wet the cloth and you take all the water out and you spray one of these products on the carpet. You let it sit there for about may be 15-20 seconds for it to absorb. Get the dirt particles out and what you simply do is go over it with a rack. You want to do that for about 2-3 times and if you see if one of these products is not removing, then you want to go to a little bit stronger product; may be something like this, the Carpet Stain Lifter. That is what you want to do. It is a little bit stronger, got more intense chemicals in it. "
